MOMENTS and MEMORIES

****************************************************
My friend, GingerTom (Dave), has passed away. He wrote music and stories to accompany his albums which he shared on Jamendo and other websites. He was a great friend and will be sorely missed. It's a great reminder to cherish the people in your life . . . our journey on this earth is very short. This is the widget which shares his most popular music on Jamendo:

***********************************************

This is beautiful, dreamy, peaceful piano . . . It can lift you or calm you, depending on your needs. . . I find it calming.

************************************************

This "Hippie" music has a nice evolvement over time . . . it fills my listening space with a warm flow and gives a pleasant atmosphere while I work and listen.

***************************************************
Beautiful music that draws the listener into your space dream . . . takes them on a long voyage into the far reaches of the Universe. The Jewsharp gives a touch of tanginess and grounding . . .

***************************************************

AHHHH . . . that hits the spot! Cool and refreshing . . .

Time

I will love you forever . . .

*****************************************************

Jason Mark Yates has a stunning voice, a melodic guitar, and an endless supply of captivating song. Give him a listen and you won't want to stop.

***********************************************

My favorite chill artist has gifted us with a new album . . . Pure moving liquid . . . relax and enjoy!

*******************************************************

Giving me a strange mix of thrills and calm as I listen . . . a type of magic comes through with this music . . . a dreamy, energizing combination of melody and instruments to convey a seamless voyage across the mighty waters of this world . . . to dance with the natives of exotic lands . . . or fly through endless skies . . .

********************************************************

No way to sit still . . . while the sounds hit the airwaves and energize your feet and heart . . .
Beautiful and vitalizing . . .. a treat for the ears and the soul.

********************************************************

So wonderful to catch the sounds of one of my old favorites at Jamendo . . . always a great listen..... the feel is cool and smooth like the flow of silk in blue skies . . . or moss over old rocks where water flows in gentle rills . . . Beautiful . . .

********************************************************

This acid electronic music takes you on visionary trips into space, time, place, depth . . . it has dimension and a quixotic personality . . . with a certain firmness that flows like sand through
grasping fingers . . . Delightful!

*********************************************************

Water has a soothing magic . . . our whole lives . .  our souls are
filled with water . . . it flows through our veins . . . and washes down
the mountains sides . . . smoothing out the rough and calming
the weary . . . this music is full of the sounds and appeal of water . .
it carves a niche within your heart as you dream and float on the
surface . . . the ripples around you reflect the stars . . . endlessly
they dance . . . filling your emptiness with hope and happiness.

*********************************************************

Such beauty cannot be described with mere words . . .  Listen! and ascend on the wings
of the angels . . . fill your soul with the beauty of the universe . . .  with the music of
Zero-project . . . Celestial!

Dreams Become ashes . . . Ashes Become Wings

flower

*********************************************************************************

Hiddeminside, one of my favorites over at Jamendo . . . always with a chill or dance at heart . . . free and smooth the music flows like air . .  like water . .  like balm over the heart and soul . . .

*********************************************************************************
So much wonderful Portuguese guitar . . . with light and warmth . . .
uplifting . . . sentimental and yet with a joyful tone . ..  a little bit  of
modern environment nestling in to add interesting tidbits to the
music . . . Overall a delightful album . . .

*********************************************************************************

Silent the deep pain . . . lift up the hope . . . dream of what could be .  . .
an electronic voice, like an angel sings to your heart . . .
be at peace . . .

*********************************************************************************

The magic of deep space . . . enveloped in the sound of music and the inner vision
of the mind . . . a peaceful flow as all the glory of the Universe is displayed
before your ever seeking soul . . . Some of this stuff gave me chills.

*********************************************************************************

Exotic fusion . . . drawing the Eastern sounds through that of the Western . . .
quiet, peaceful and just plain beautiful with those breathy vocals!  Eastern music can
often sound so harsh to my ears but these were fantastically pleasant to relax to.

*********************************************************************************

I felt like bursting into applause after every piano piece . . . and the organ too, on occasion.
These are appropriate for dinner parties or background music for many occasions . .
I enjoyed it as I read a book.

*********************************************************************************

Drama . . . the music, with resounding drums and clashes of cymbals drives the imagination
to the battle's side where the march is even and the distance is long.

*********************************************************************************

Quiet journeys . . . dreams so ethereal .  ..  floating in the clouds of forever . . .
The music is gentle to the ears of the listener . .  vibrating lovingly
in the beating heart . . . one find themselves walking effortlessly
on sandy shores . . .

The Sun is Also Rising . . .

So, GingerTom, one of my favorites on Jamendo, is giving us a whole new series based on the Zodiac. He will present a new album each week (so look for them!) and he will explain how his newest piece was created based on family, friendships and people he has known .. . The music is quite good .. ..  but so is all his music, so what else is new . .  Check it out!

***************************************************

It must be Zodiac week because here is another Zodiac featured album by a very popular artist, Hiddeminside!  His music is new-age, ambient, relaxing and could be played for the sake of good dreams and peaceful moments.

**************************************************

Luscious quiet . ..  peaceful music with the sound of gentle breezes and temporal and celestial visions . .. .. Search the night for your joy and find the music of the twilight's promises . . . while you rest under the silver magic of the moon's inner fires . . .

*****************************************************

The Sun . .  most invigorating . . . smooth and surreal . .  Warm bright light rides this music through the day . . .  Some gentle energy, jazziness, and uplifting moods . . . Just as the puffy sheep-like clouds travel across the blue skies with distant destinations . . . this music takes us places . .  my eyes glaze over and we dream with the sympathies of the breezes and the sounds created by Sonic Mystery . . . Delightful!

******************************************************

Dance . . . so that the earth will move beneath your feet . . .
the lazy dust rises to greet
the sun  . . .
sleepy bird will fly . . .
and sing to bring the dawn . . .
the music gives the energy
to make the world twirl . . .
night pours forth from liquid embers
and the day ascends like the phoenix  ..
dead bird rising . .

**************************************************

Listening for that distant train . . .
flying along over the tracks of inner vision . . .
you feel that rumble in your gut . . .
your breast bones resonate like piano strings . .
these old dreams . .
and mighty drums reverberate . ..
a knock upon a quiet hill . .
near pathways
where we walk alone
and know within our soul . .
we are
the music that makes us . .
and takes us
until
our wings are grown,
and though we are but dust  . . .
a thousand million reflections,
our spirits race through beautiful universes
to alight upon the tree of music . .

Pictures and Hiddeminside . . . Lullabies and Dreams

Pictures, "Lullabies"

Tags: electronic, electro, fusion, Indie, Spain

Dreamy, mysterious . . . gentle and relaxing! This album would be a strong winner with anyone wishing to sleep or daydream with a little impetus to visualize or fantasize to the music . . .  Each of the eleven tracks had their own unique character and yet all the while carrying the theme straight to the emotions of the spiritual center of the listener  . ..  the music, somewhat surreal and pensive. . . . As I listened  I gazed into the baby blue sky where feathers of clouds flew on the waves of wind . . . and there I was . . . cool and dreamy, floating . . the colors of heaven . ..  opened before me . . . the stars of the night revealed in that hemisphere  . . . the yellows and greens of nature, dancing fingertips of tree limbs . .  the tender babes of the forest . ..  all convened through the music to fill my heart and soul with a peaceful inner joy . .

Hiddeminside, "Dreams vol.2"

Tags: Electronic, World,

Ethereal and airy . . . the "Sounds of Freya" flow through the atmosphere like waves of delicate breezes, carrying the soul and the heart with it as it wafts into the listener's ear . .. and then "Sounds of Anu" presented clouds of drum beat . . . bongo, rhythm . .. a gentle beat that guides the dreamer into vistas of beauty . . . feet stepping along a cliff edge and the feeling of wings gathering to carry one over the tempest and into the rays of the setting sun . . . and "Sounds of Brigid" was just peaceful, like the calm, sun dappled sea . . . or waves of grass on an endless prairie . . .  "Sounds of the Gods" is full of subtle drama . . . and wishful dreams . .

Chill and Dance and all that Jazz . . .

Hiddeminside, "Time to Chill vol.3"

So many sounds that intrigue as the listener is relaxing or dancing to this music .  .  .  a perfect album to play in the background and listen, or do things that require a little energy and thought . . . the music clears the brain and inspires the imagination . . .

******************************************************

NuJazz-Trio, "Nujazz-trio V"

Loved the piano . . . the brush drum sweeping all the cares away from the listener's heart . . .  an interlude of jazz is always a good way to warm the soul and awaken the psyche with a little mixed emotion . .  Excellent!!

********************************************************

Pidelta sound, "Greatest Hits - Frammentazioni

As I started to listen . . . I became warmed by the music . . . the heart of the vocalist came through with emotion and candor . . . a truly enjoyable listen . .  uplifting and tender . . . and thus I was captivated and stayed to listen throughout this lovely album . . . I must say, that I appreciated the instrumental aspect of these tracks more than the vocals as the words were sung in a language unfamiliar to my comprehension . . . yet the over-all feeling was evident to the listener!
