I Remember . . .

Along Springwater Corridor

******************************************
Yesterday becomes a dream . . . yet, like the dust of stars which
makes up our bones . ..  our memories grow into our soul . . .
and the newage dances with that old jazz . . . following
a new path . . . made from the heart . . .

******************************************

Cool . . . relaxing sounds. From gentle jazz to sublime chill . ..  an atmosphere full of sympathetic music . . . to take you up or leave you calm  . . .

******************************************

Beautiful!!!
At times I wept and others I smiled . . . the music took me on a ride . . .
A warm afternoon . . . in the cool of the shade . . . I lay and dreamed
of times I loved and times I died . ..
I dreamed of things so long ago . . . another lifetime . ..  another star . . .
I dreamed of when I had wings . . . and singed my heart
in the fires of passion . .. . I dreamed of peace . . . in the bottom of the
ocean . . . I flew . .  I ran . . . my day slipped by  . .  and when the music was over
I was sad and yet the melodies echoed in the shadows of my mind . . .
These pieces are way too short!

******************************************

You must go to this page: https://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a148270/three-irish-ballads-by-w.-allingham (it will open in a new tab) and read the poetry of William Allingham, an Irish poet (1824-1889) . . . which is set to Aufklarung's wonderful music. Music and poetry dream together . . . building the heart and soul . . . lifting wings and fly into the ever-after. The music has an ethereal, Irish flavor . . .  and brings visions to the inner eye.

******************************************

Unusual and quirky . . . and even quite beautiful and emotional at times . . . soothing as a breeze . . . touching and gentle . . .

*******************************************

Gentle, yet leading, a masterpiece in direction and dream . . . Takes us on a voyage through the depths of the unknown . . . energies flow and guide us like starlight and color our waters to fill us to the brim with completion . . . Creative forces take us onto the empty canvas . . . where we can paint the vision .. .. and fulfill our destinies . . .

*******************************************
Minimal and droning . . . quiet like a lazy river . . . deep, dark and dreamy like the night sky . .
and peaceful like the early dawn . . .

My Song is About My Brother . . .

****************************************************

our lights
beam bright in
a forgotten darkness
shining along broken pathways . .
shadowing out pitfalls and obstacles . .
as we dance along . . .
wandering hearts
find the story
behind the song

of the other . . . who is my brother . . .

I need your hand like the rose
needs the thorn
and the sky
desires eagles . . . flying through . . .
like arrows burning in the sun . . .
a moment pauses . . . and then you
are gone, only to
become the dust
that blinds my eyes . . .

I weep . . . for my brother

a lonely stone wears down beneath the storm
sinking into oblivion . . . its passage
unknown .. ..
I watch for you
possessing your safety . . .
I will not let you sink
beneath the unbecoming slime . .

for . . . you are my brother . .

**************  I overheard a kindergartener, in my computer lab, softly telling another student, "My song is about my brother . . ."   I couldn't resist it as a title . . . it fit my poem and it fit my heartache and desire . . .  that we reach out to help our brothers . . . everyone. I am thinking about desperate people reaching out for help . .  only to be rejected . .

****************************************************
Today I needed some chill . . . light and easy listening . . . a place to dream . . .
so I looked through old albums . . . nothing really new here to share . . . just some of my old favorites with a couple of my old reviews. (reviewing under: PurpleOrca, wolfsongthepoet and orangeupurple.

****************************************************

PurpleOrca: Hear this peaceful and calming piano . .. played with sweet emotion and the feel of the heart's love and tension's release as the compassionate cool waters of heaven's piano washes over the soul of the listener. - "The Best Between the Lines" Hear the meltingly warm and honeyed tones of songs and singers to bring the tears to your eyes as you listen and are given hope of redemption and love. - "You Will Be Loved" Hear the powerful percussion crashing through the senses and sensibilities and removing the cobwebs and lethargy of denial and retreat and forming a - ". . . New Life With Me." Hear the long trip through space and time and the tempo of power pacing with the flight into freedom and connection with environments of peace and pleasure. -"Connected" Hear the beautiful voices in this duet and that soft gentle piano and instrumental melody which holds you tight and charms the tensions from your aching heart. - "Where Are You Now." Hear the message of hope and wonder in the uplifting yet dulcet tones of this melody, "Running Out Of Time" See through the lens of multitudinous colors, feel the tenderness and compassion, smell the gardens of generous beauty . . . your senses will guide you as you listen to this music.

****************************************************

****************************************************

**************************************************

OrangeuPurple: Sliding into the night . . . deep flows the dark like a mythical beast. . . the dragon driving my emotions - the dark of the music, moves with the tempo of a free soul hindered only by the emotions grown through the passing of time, and the wings of the angel lifts me to be above the flood . . . the deep salty seas running from the weeping eyes of the bloody dragon. . . Music to ease my agonies . . . - M^^W -

**************************************************

No Chill can be shared by me without including this artist's heart felt music . . .

**************************************************

**************************************************

Another favorite of mine is the music from Tunguska Electronic Music Society . .  Love their Chill:

Alone . . .

butterfly

*********************************************************************************

I loved the juxtaposition and contrasts between the instruments chosen to play these rousing
pieces . . . making me feel as if I could run and fly . . . reaching the highest high . . . great for dance or running . . .. the heart feels happy . . . like magic. The first track had a military drum that announced the sweetness of the melody . . . and the second piece had an interesting percussion intro too . . . which became the back bone of the lovely melody.  I think this method reaches in and grabs the soul . . . I could hear this music reverberating inside my breastbone.

*************************************************

The music on this album was haunting . . . I felt as if I were walking in a beautiful old house . ..
with rooms full of tales . . . voices and gentle touches followed me as I drifted down long
pathways . . . the music leading with a subtle flow. Mysterious and dark, and yet not without some hope and light . . . these pieces beckon the listener deeper and deeper into the soul of
peace and rest . . .

****************************************

With the vocalist's whimsical, breathless, child-like voice accenting these pieces . . . this album's music has an appeal that charms the listener.  The piano music is dreamy and the instrumentals are exquisite. These pieces are meant to be relaxing, romantic and sentimental and do indeed create such an atmosphere with a balance of some pounding dance.  Very nice!

****************************************

Noblemo's piano is quite distinct. . .  it plays with raw emotion and dreamy places from within the soul of the musician . . . and the listener follows the flow . . the ebb and tide . . as if sound were water and moments were pieces of light and dark . . . Always a tremendous pleasure listening to his instrumental music, lead by a heart-felt piano.

****************************************

This electrically, stimulating guitar play was like refreshing mountain springs at the end of a long, hard journey . . .  . . where you find peace and refreshment and given the impetuous and vision to drive yourself on until the end . . . Delightful music, great flow and pulling in melodic emotions with each stroke of the strings .  .  .

***************************************
WOW . . . Tunguska . . . what can I say. The Tunguska albums are always a collaboration of various artists from the region . .  always exceptionally good electronic grooves.  It's a good plan to put on a Tunguska album if you just want to chill, relax and enjoy life .  .  . lots of tracks and great flow between the pieces . . .

*****************************************

Definitely spacey . . . electronic moods and gentle, airy motifs with a tendency to pattern into flow . . . . .  like flying through space . .  touching the stars . . . the darkness between the brightness . . . the heat and the cold . . .

******************************************

This guy is GOOD!  I love this enchanting folk singer's richly, lilting vocals with added intonation, emotion and a pretty good range . . . his voice is so captivating . . . and I am enchanted by his melodic, passionate poetry . . . and the instruments that twinkle along, adding depth and dimension into this generic style of folk music make this album very creative and artistic.

Check it Out . . .

This utterly gorgeous album by zero-project:
Whenever I see his name, I stop and listen . . . the music is not to be missed . .
his creations are perfect! I get quite excited when I see a new album of his.
This is nice chill with the divinely heart-wrenching emotional fingerprints
of zero-project.

***********************************************

This STUNNING album by Ronny Matthes
Some of this music is familiar, but all most beautiful . .  . my heart loves the piano . . .
and these compositions were done with an easy flow that builds something
emotional in the soul.

*************************************************

This album by PATROUX:
Music with some thrill and drama as if for film, yet ambient and gentle
like ocean waves under a Summer sun.

****************************

Most interesting sounds by Ambient Samurai - Ichiro NAKAGAWA:
This music is kind of a drone . . . interesting and soothing in a fascinating kind of way.
It makes me think of daydreaming by the seaside . . . very pleasant . . .
Don't let the titles fool you . . . I think they lack creativity but then this artist
is better at sound than word.

****************************

The extraordinary music of Tunguska Society:
These are always top quality, beautiful and quite stimulating. The uniqueness and creativity of
these artists are not to be missed. I always enjoy these albums.  Here are two new ones. Check out the Jamendo pages because there are some interesting words to read . . . a story and some information.

******************************

This charming album by JoseManuelGonzalez:
The music is beautiful and exactly as advertised . . dreamy, danceable,
relaxing and lovely.

Waiting for Spring . . .

Tunguska is always Tunguska (although sometimes lacking in interesting creativity . . . it has a foolproof formula for it's musicians . . . Check out some of their other albums . . . http://www.jamendo.com/en/artist/343607/tunguska-electronic-music-society

The music is phenomenally beautiful and tender to the senses, like rose-petals or stars floating in a velvet blackness . . . music which sometimes drives you to ecstasy and fills your soul with a deep discernment; impossible to put into perfect words . .  yet . . . perhaps with an offering of euphoria matching the sublimity of angels . . . a flowing dream . ..  a vision of rapture . . The imagination while listening to the music will open those windows . . . and let you fly . .

****************************************************

This music really had a sharp impact on my listening ear and my speakers . . . I turned the sound down to enjoy the storytelling capabilities of the steelpan . . . and the various electronic instrumental deployments . . . as they bounce and burble through their own enlightening sound explosions. These compositions gave the experience of bending and stretching my environment and mind to follow imaginary figures and colors and lights flashing while flying in the sky like fish with neon tails; and where dreamy dances and conversational song with aliens eliminate the boredom of my day . . . in other words, it was a sensational sensory trip! . . . very enjoyable; and I look forward to new releases by this new Jamendo artist . . .

****************************************************

Just for FUN . . . parties . . . dances . . .  video games, and putting a smile on your face . .  a bit of ragtime from the player organ . . . These are great danceable tunes . .. Kids of all ages would love these nostalgic upbeat tunes . . . I know I do!

******************************************************

Simple, yet beautiful, like clear water running over a fall . . .
a feeling of light energy . . . a dance
of butterflies or motes in a ray of sun . . .
peacefulness and harmony
with the listening soul.

Happy New Year (and several short reviews)

My wish for all, as expressed on my FaceBook page (https://www.facebook.com/barbara.wolfsong):

Here is to us and a Happy New Year . . . May we become kinder to ourselves, this new year, so we can be kinder to others and thus . . .. to find peace in our hearts . . . May we look for the humor in our daily lives . . . and find joy in the small things . . . May we chose to make small children smile with happiness and give all creatures comfort . . . May we respect the innocent wisdom of the elderly and the young for they are close to God's heart . . . So. . . beauty, peace, innocence and joy will fill your hearts with warmth, truth, and creative energy . . .

*P*E*A*C*E* *J*O*Y* & *L*O*V*E*
to everyone !

Some music to share the spirit of the new year . . .

******************************************

First, a little bit of auditory fireworks . . . a short, enjoyable music and visually inspiring . . .

******************************************

This music fills my soul with peacefulness and my heart with joy and my body with stillness . . . A lovely album indeed!

******************************************

Dramatically beautiful! Something is moving, creating, deep inside this music . . . driving the listener to dive deep . . . breath the music and be enveloped my its energies . . .

********************************************

Nice hoppy popping music . . . or smooth and mellow . . . the vocals were great, especially the woman's mellow bluesy clubby sound. My feet couldn't stop moving and my listening ear was captivated.

**********************************************

Subtly relaxing and vividly uplifting . . . dream of the stars and give yourself wings by listening to this delightful music.

**********************************************

These pieces are somewhat Celtic and Ozark-ish . . . Definitely put your dancing shoes on when ready to listen, as these fiddle tunes will drive your feet wild . . . These had a traditional sound . ..  with lots of energy and emotion . . . sadly, some of these tracks seemed to be cut  a little bit short, yet were still delightful to fill the atmosphere with glistens of sunshine and dreams.

***************************************************

So warm the guitar .  .  . so uplifting the delightful twinkles of music as it splashes your soul with color and dance . . ..

***************************************************

Cool and enlightening . . . the music of Tunguska fills the air waves with the secret language of peace.

*************************************************

Dramatic and emotional . . . great movie music and energizing for an evening's listen . . . Excellent stuff here! The strings have a flow like the wind through the trees .. .. "Magical" is the perfect description!

Our Connection Through Music . . .

Tags: ambient, electroacoustic, worldinstrumental

Something in our DNA responds to the songs wafting to us from our ancient ancestors, spawned deep in their souls as they were sleeping beneath the stars or running through the tundra . . .  Though, today, we may be engulfed by our cities or flinging ourselves into the depths of space, our connection to this mother rock is never shaken. Van Syla's new track, gives "Evidence" of that . .  an earthy, primordial connection rises up through the notes and instrumental sounds like dust from beneath the feet of midnight dancers . . . ancient dust which flies into the sparks of the fire . . . sparks reaching to the stars . . . dancing through time.

**************************************************

Tags: rock, instrumental, experiment, ambient, chillout

Well, I wanted to try something/someone new on Jamendo and I clicked
and clicked until I found something that clicked with me . . . these cool, smooth,
sounds of "electric dog" captivated my ear and made me pause to listen.
And I stayed and stayed through this cool chill which somehow soothed
me . . . filling my soul with insight and dreams . . .

**************************************************

Tags:  piano, instrumental, ambient, poems, synthesizer

Light and pretty, most of this music fills my soul with joy.  I do tend
to like music without vocals much better than those with, but these
were quite striking  . . . and the music was fun.
This album was all very creative and some of these pieces were
quite attention-getting . . . and made me stop and listen, for sure.

**************************************************

Tags:  metal, techno, instrumental, electronic, electrometal

A very nice surprise . .  this electronic music full of melodies and powerful shots of energy . . . vibrated me into dance and movement and a happy mood . . . Definitely a great listen.

***************************************************

Tags:  instrumental, electronic, relaxing, christmas, tunguska

Enlightening and energizing as usual . . . with exceptional music created by exceptional musicians . . . unique and beautiful! I think everyone on Jamendo drops everything
to listen to Tunguska's newest albums . . . always a delight!

Doorways to Flight . . .

Tags:  pop, love, happy, cinematic

Blood flows through the veins of those who love . . .
blessed with a release from lonely heart ache,
and for an eternal moment
a glimpse . . . a vision as
the stars filter through the wings . . .
and the angels sing;
for those who love
there is tranquility
and discernment . . .
a quality of wisdom . . . reaching deep,
as the sun filters like golden motes
beneath the blackness of the sea . . .

This music is beautiful, with some familiar sounding melodies . . . it sets the mood of the listener to a pleasant, happy mode. . . a moment of bliss, a dance, a jazzy interlude, romantic and touching .  .  . a sentimental journey . . . Something for everyone to enjoy. My very favorite was the first track, "LOVE" . . . . which quite captivated my heart!

Also, thank you (to the artist) for sharing part of one of my poems: http://orangeupurple.blogspot.com/2012/09/my-love-is-mystery.html
with his gorgeous light piece, "My Love Is A Mystery."

****************************************************

Tags:  rock, newage, instrumental, fusion, guitar

Dramatic and seductive . . . hot and driven . . . wild or tender . . . give PeerGynt a guitar and you will never want to stop listening . . .  With the wings he gives you, through his creations, you will find yourself in places you never dreamed . . . stars and moons glowing in your eyes . . . and energy in your soul . . .

***************************************************

Tags:   rock, soundtrack, ambient, progressiverock, progressivemetal

Dom The Bear flies . . . with the greatest of ease he creates music that fits every mood and engulfs the listener with every style of music . .  These rocking tunes will take the listener out of this world . . . while enticing them to listen over and over again.

******************************************************

Tags:  newage, instrumental, soundscape, keyboard, newageinstrumental

I love the sparkly, warm, and positive feel of the piano's voice in these pieces . . . The music has much to say . . . I love Fall's beauty . . but then there is the cold and rain . . . so the music, like a crackling fire, keeps me warm . . .

***************************************************

Tags:  world, improvisation, instrumental, indiepop, mayadeluna

Delicious and delightful, the angelic vocals of Maya are not to be missed. . . her voice strikes right to the soul of the listener . . . and accompanying Yvalain's music becomes pure bliss. Beautiful and delicate is the balance between singer and instrumental . . . like a feather on the breeze, the soul is lifted, tenderly into the ether, where it finds the birth of love, and a deep joy that penetrates straight the heart. This album is where we can find our peace and a mellow sort of happiness that glows like treasure.

*****************************************************

Tags:  instrumental, downtempo, electronic, space, tunguska

Tunguska = magic . . . a drifting, dreamy sort of interlude in a busy day . .  to calm and give dreams of star fields and galaxies spinning slowly in the heart of the Universe . . . I can almost always count on Tunguska music to be exquisite.

Brilliantly Beautiful!

Tags: piano, instrumental, soundtrack, classical, neoclassical

I listened for hours today . . . the music was moving . . . heart touching . . . there was a lightness in the melodies and yet a shadow in the mood  . ..  It felt as if someone were leaving, locking up their home and going away . . . There was a tale in the music, told through the emotion of the piano . . . it flowed through the soul . . . and rested there, in the heart where there are memories to savor . . . even though we have said goodbye . . . we will always have the music . . .

****************************************************

Tags: soundtrack, ambient, orchestral, movie, filmmusic

The word epic rises to mind [ :-D]. . . as I listen . . . a long tale, a narrative of heroic proportions . . . the road is endless and the legend becomes twined, like a titanic helix . . . ten epic breezes to wind through the listener's vagaries (twenty-four tracks)  . .. dragons and queens . . . evil and good . . . embattled cities . . . and more, for when you are enchanted by the music, your dreams become vivid, liquid as if a magic carpet had lifted you into the fantasies of your imaginations . . .

***************************************************

Tags: instrumental, downtempo, soundtrack, ambient

Long ago . . . a train pushed it's way through the waiting atmosphere . . . leaving disaster in its wake, creating a mystery . . . And a calming zephyr  blows inward, from the hidden places, like a kiss . . . yet cold like the winters of the plains . . . and the ghosts of the mysteriously departed sing into our listening ears . . . there is a haze before my eyes . . . I see the clouds of sorrow run with tears, anciently  drenched of their salt . . they fall, the sweet soothing rain, like gentle music . . .a balm for the soul and heart . . .

Don't Stop When You're On A Roll . . .

Paul Zach, "The Rhythm Of The Heart"

The reason we love the beats, of certain musical pieces, is because it closely matches the beating rhythm of our heart . . . I love trance for that reason . . . it lifts me up, excites me, and helps me move . . . plus it's great to dance to . . . these first two pieces are quite nice trance with lovely intros . . .  and energized beats which compel the listener to dream and dance . . .

**********************************

Alberto Mandis, "First Colors"

I love this jazzy, lounge music . . . it has that warm and personal  inner glow, with a cool, reflective sensation . . .  at any rate . . . it puts a smile on my face and a tappy-tap in my toes . . . And that improvisational sounding piece, "Blue Sky," was quite colorful with some great chatter between the instruments. The last track was the most enchanting, as it seemed to have a life of its own . . . charming and emotional.

****************************************

Out of Limits, "In the Lap Of Clouds"

Very beautiful, calming and tender . . . the female vocals, in this lounge/chill music, blended well and set the right mood . . . relax and be happy.

**************************************************

Tunguska Electronic Music Society, "Tunguska Chillout Grooves X"

I am always thrilled to find a new Tunguska album. Often they become favorites and I can set these nicely generous playlists to flow through my environment for hours without tiring of this music.

The first track was so beautiful, quite serene with an almost classical appeal . . . so when the second track began to play . . . colorfully vibrant with extra layers of sound . . it was a shock . . . Both were great tracks, but juxtaposed together, it was just a bit jarring to this listener . . .

However that is my only criticism, and I suppose, that when you take so many, extraordinarily hight quality musician's musical pieces and put them together for the extreme enjoyment of the fans . . . you will find those quirky moments . . .

All these pieces had such passion at the heart . . . it made me think of a blood red beating heart trying to escape from an icy blue environment . . . it builds a picture of humanity, finding its way, through music and art . . . through love and emotion . . . we find the music . . . to suit our mood . . .

Gorgeous . . . another winner!

*****************************************************

And here . . . a little heart touching folk music:

I think anyone would love this music . . .  The voice . ..  will crawl into your soul and stay . . .

*****************************************************

Bane Djakovic, "SAVA+DANUBE=BELGRADE"

Well, not sure what the title means . . . but the music was so powerful . . . with so many layers of sound that intrigued and tickled my ears . . . It kept me listening and mesmerized by the various nuances that thrust through the featured strong beat . . . this isn't napping music . . . but sound that energizes and lifts the spirit. . . . the music powers through those doldrums . ..  enlightening and cooling, like electronic music often does.

Reviews from the End of 2012 . . .

PERSSON, "Wings"

http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a115199/wings

WOW PERSSON . . . as good as ever. I loved this album .. . all of it . . "Isabelle" had such a beautiful melodic flavor . . . so much tenderness pushed home by that driving guitar . . . And including vocals (I Say Yeah), piano (Wings) and other goodies, embellishes and adds depths to PERSSON's already great sounds . . .

***********************************************************************

Roger Subirana Mata, "In the Air"

http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a116469/in-the-air#

Gorgeous .. .. full of warm, sweetly scented breezes to guide you higher and higher . . . into the peaceful heavens . . .

********************************************************************

Detlef Bard, "Holy Water"

http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a115885/holy-water

The intro was quite enticing . . . beginning with a swirling electronic sound and then quickly moving into a warm, mellow piano. This was a very relaxing piece and I found myself listening over and over . . the various instruments played so well together . . the tabla becoming a glowing heartbeat . . . and the strings (not bad at all) were a deep fresh breath wafting in on the wings of a dream . .. This is very beautiful . . .

**********************************************************************

Out Of Orion (Ox3), "Deep In Winter"

http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a115490/deep-in-winter

A beautiful, peaceful, calming collaboration between the exquisite Native American flute of C.S. Fuqua and Ox3's harmonious instrumental melodies . . . These are so gorgeous for the season of Winter . .. great for lovely background to any activity, bringing visions of lavender mists and quiet forests beneath a blanket of snow . . .

**************************************************************************

Mancy, "Barwy Jesieni"

http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a115417/barwy-jesieni

Beginning with a dramatic, dreamy, moody melody, this album brings us through the "Colors of Autumn" . . . from the melancholic moment when we sense the end of Summer; to the acceptance and revelation of the magic of color and sunshine . . through the sweep of storms and downpour of old leaves . . . each point in this design of nature is brought to our ears with a compelling composition, conveying sentimentality, emotion and closure as we head towards the black and white despair of Winter's soul. This is a wonderful Mancy album . . . spearing our hearts with his extraordinary talent . . .

*****************************************************************

Van Syla, "Between the Clouds"

http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a115154/between-the-clouds

Sweet and sentimental . . . with a harmony that reaches down into the soul . . . this particular piece, of Van Syla's, makes me tear up every time I listen . . . The cello and the piano have a rapport which is divine . . . This is such a gentle, lovely melody, that I feel truly touched . .

*********************************************************************

arnoldsrecords, "e scapes"

http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a115071/e-scapes

Clever title . . . and beautiful music . . . an afternoon of listening and I am not at all tired of hearing these wonderful tunes . . .

************************************************************************

BEYER Cédric, "My Heart's Desire"

http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a115057/my-heart-s-desire

OH MY! Be still MY heart . . . I'm busy doing stuff, and have the player playing the latest gifts to Jamendo and . . . this music made me look up and pause in my activities . . . it takes a special music . . . a certain quality of composition . . and especially piano to make my soul cry like this . . . extraordinary!

************************************************************************

Zero-project, "The Great Spirit"

http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a114957/the-great-spirit

You've always got my heart when you share your Native American musics . . . deeply spiritual and emotional . . or at least to me . . this particular track is quite captivating . . .. and I think of as earthy . . . a heart beat, like distant drums echoing throughout the Universe . .. time stands still . . clouds fill my vision and I am somewhere else . . . Perhaps at the beginning of existence . . . where all things were formed . . . the sparks of my campfire leap up to dance with the stars . .. and I find that I am one with all life . .

Added to this playlist of Native styled songs:

Krzysztof Malinowski, "Catharsis"

http://www.jamendo.com/en/list/a114927/catharsis

This was just what I wanted to hear . . . Uplifting music, with a clear sound; conducive to smiles and relaxation . . wings that lift me up as I listen . . . a breath of fresh air relieving pent-up pain . . . sorrow and grief flow away into an endless streaming breeze . . . Music has a way of touching the soul's deepest feelings . .. reflecting and inspiring the mind of the heart. This album is a tale . .. a tale of darkness and pain . . . a tale of escape and desire . . . . a tale of death and re-birth . . .

I especially loved the mystery involved in "The Fog (Mgla)" which was deep, with a throaty guitar and instrumental discussion and some ghostly flittering . .. this particular piece was quite involving and intricately beautiful . . . and mentally visual.

This was one of the albums I remember from the old Jamendo . . . this must be a re-release . . .. I remember listening to it for hours, writing a story that went with the idea of a nocturnal adventure through the rainy streets and into a cave . . . (I have been known for my vivid imaging) . . . I still love this album but perhaps I will find inspiration for a poetic or story share on my blog . . .[http://orangeupurple.blogspot.com/ ] because this music DOES take you on a journey . . . or not . . . depending on your mood . . . . but it is exceptionally nicely mastered and composed . .. an excellent listen . . ..

"Modern Classic"

Tunguska with two new delights to warm your dark, winterish nights . ..

With the likes of Pianochocolate and Fox in the modern classic album . .. one hears a range of instrumental styles . . from the dramatic to the sublime . . . an extraordinary listen . . powerful to say the least with a solid appeal, this album should be for everybody who likes music, period . . . I also want to add that the album cover is one of the more elegant ones and has a strong eye catching quality.

In the silence of the arctic nights, one can immerse oneself in soul shattering sounds, smooth and articulate, icy and dark, with the shine of light from the nearest aurora flickering with imagined warmth . . these pieces hold the frame for a relaxing afternoon . . .

Overall two outstanding albums . . . sit back and relax and enjoy . .. it can't miss.

I am very impressed with this pianist's compositions . . . Beautiful and touching . . . delicate and peacefully emotive . . . these pieces resonate with a bit of her soul and her harmonious connection with the spirit of love and life . . . I think that this is the kind of music that has healing qualities . . . Lovely!

arnoldsrecords, "Tibetan butterflies"

Beautiful . . . the gentle touches of the earthy flutes . . . and the build-up of the instrumental sound is lovely and peaceful . . a heart touching melody . . . settles in the soul like the tender touch of butterfly wings . . . an elusive brush against the soul . . . and then gone . . . but always remembered . .
