The intro was quite enticing . . . beginning with a swirling electronic sound and then quickly moving into a warm, mellow piano. This was a very relaxing piece and I found myself listening over and over . . the various instruments played so well together . . the tabla becoming a glowing heartbeat . . . and the strings (not bad at all) were a deep fresh breath wafting in on the wings of a dream . .. This is very beautiful . . .

This was just what I wanted to hear . . . Uplifting music, with a clear sound; conducive to smiles and relaxation . . wings that lift me up as I listen . . . a breath of fresh air relieving pent-up pain . . . sorrow and grief flow away into an endless streaming breeze . . . Music has a way of touching the soul's deepest feelings . .. reflecting and inspiring the mind of the heart. This album is a tale . .. a tale of darkness and pain . . . a tale of escape and desire . . . . a tale of death and re-birth . . .

I especially loved the mystery involved in "The Fog (Mgla)" which was deep, with a throaty guitar and instrumental discussion and some ghostly flittering . .. this particular piece was quite involving and intricately beautiful . . . and mentally visual.

This was one of the albums I remember from the old Jamendo . . . this must be a re-release . . .. I remember listening to it for hours, writing a story that went with the idea of a nocturnal adventure through the rainy streets and into a cave . . . (I have been known for my vivid imaging) . . . I still love this album but perhaps I will find inspiration for a poetic or story share on my blog . . .[http://orangeupurple.blogspot.com/ ] because this music DOES take you on a journey . . . or not . . . depending on your mood . . . . but it is exceptionally nicely mastered and composed . .. an excellent listen . . ..

In the silence of the arctic nights, one can immerse oneself in soul shattering sounds, smooth and articulate, icy and dark, with the shine of light from the nearest aurora flickering with imagined warmth . . these pieces hold the frame for a relaxing afternoon . . .

Overall two outstanding albums . . . sit back and relax and enjoy . .. it can't miss.
