Waiting for Spring . . .

Tunguska is always Tunguska (although sometimes lacking in interesting creativity . . . it has a foolproof formula for it's musicians . . . Check out some of their other albums . . . http://www.jamendo.com/en/artist/343607/tunguska-electronic-music-society

The music is phenomenally beautiful and tender to the senses, like rose-petals or stars floating in a velvet blackness . . . music which sometimes drives you to ecstasy and fills your soul with a deep discernment; impossible to put into perfect words . .  yet . . . perhaps with an offering of euphoria matching the sublimity of angels . . . a flowing dream . ..  a vision of rapture . . The imagination while listening to the music will open those windows . . . and let you fly . .

This music really had a sharp impact on my listening ear and my speakers . . . I turned the sound down to enjoy the storytelling capabilities of the steelpan . . . and the various electronic instrumental deployments . . . as they bounce and burble through their own enlightening sound explosions. These compositions gave the experience of bending and stretching my environment and mind to follow imaginary figures and colors and lights flashing while flying in the sky like fish with neon tails; and where dreamy dances and conversational song with aliens eliminate the boredom of my day . . . in other words, it was a sensational sensory trip! . . . very enjoyable; and I look forward to new releases by this new Jamendo artist . . .

Just for FUN . . . parties . . . dances . . .  video games, and putting a smile on your face . .  a bit of ragtime from the player organ . . . These are great danceable tunes . .. Kids of all ages would love these nostalgic upbeat tunes . . . I know I do!

******************************************************

Simple, yet beautiful, like clear water running over a fall . . .
a feeling of light energy . . . a dance
of butterflies or motes in a ray of sun . . .
peacefulness and harmony
with the listening soul.

  1. Thanks for the review. I'm glad you liked the album. Listen and enjoy=) By the way, about steelpan...The real name of instrument that i used is Tonga or Tongue drum. It looks like UFO with the sawn through holes in the center and on a circle. Unfortunately on jamendo, in the list of the instruments used, there is nothing like it, except Hang drum and steelpan. So i choosed steelpan=) Thank you again. Peace=)
