The Quiet Mind Listens . . .

Tea Leaves By William McGregor Paxton

******************************

So nice . . . set to play and enjoy this easy-listening, smooth flowing yet danceable music . . .
Rich,
like the rippling water of a cool lake at the end of a long day . . .
reflective and gentle,
yet full of life just
beneath the surface . . .
Watch the dance of the dragonfly
tap your feet to the music . . .
and the sparks of the fire
as they reach the sky . . .

******************************

I have raved about Julien Boulier so often that I won't say much about this album . .  One of his latest, except that I love it as much as I do the others.  I find that the spaces he leaves in each piece is like
a window
through which the spirit can fly . . .
or the dreamer can perceive the depths
of the sky . . .
where one can find the meaning
of the soul . . .
where love abounds . . .
where life lives . . .

******************************

Sean sings and Yvalain plays his rocking guitar . . . so hot . .
so alive . . . Takes me back to those old days when the blues
were folding into electric guitar rock music . . . So exciting and
so intoxicating.

**********************************************

This is simply beautiful . . . the delicate piano, guitar and vocals . . .
like most folk music, were peaceful and gentle . . . full of tender sentiment and romance.
These recordings were live and thus sometimes were heard some external sounds, but the
music, compositions and melodies are meritorious and this album is definitely well worth a listen.
These singers have voices like balm to the heart . . .

**********************************************

Dark, droning and ambient .  .  . sounds that are barely there . . .
otherworldly, yet temporal . .  striking . . . and dramatic . . .
 . . . the flesh cries in the burning darkness . .
remission . . . redemption . . . and lostness . . .
somewhere in the direction we seek . . .

***********************************************

Dramatic and visual . . . this music is easy on the ears and the spirit . . .
I think it could also be used in a film or video as background music.
These pieces were created with thoughtfulness and creativity.

************************************************

I love Jorisma's music . . . it just sweeps me away with that clear,
crystal clean electronic energy . .. You can dance . .  you can work . .
your brain is alive and you feel connected to the vision  . .. to the
dream . . . There is also the possibility that it could heal the brokenness
in the listener . . . so give it a try . . . let the music help you fly . . .
